PlayStation has announced that a Destiny 2 collaboration is in the works and it includes themed armor sets for all three classes. Although a release date for this event is yet to be provided, it has been revealed that Warlocks are receiving a Ghost of Tsushima-inspired collection, while Hunters and Titans are getting Horizon and God of War-themed equipment respectively.

It’s currently unclear, though, whether PlayStation plans on adding more cosmetic options for some of the best PvE weapons in the game as they’ve only shared a small event teaser so far. However, it’s safe to say that these new armor sets aren’t going to be the only new goodies introduced as evidenced by a The Last of Us-inspired Ghost Shell included in the promotional poster.

Naturally, the equipment that’s set to be introduced with the collaboration are all based on each game’s beloved protagonists. The Titans are fittingly going to be imbued with the appearance of the titular God of War himself, Kratos, with his iconic red face and body paint. Warlocks, on the other hand, have been blessed with Jin Sakai’s iconic samurai armor, while Hunters are going to represent Aloy with her recognizable outfit.

PlayStation has also announced that all three armor sets are going to be available on all platforms that Destiny 2 is playable on. This should come as a relief to Xbox and PC users as they should be able to access these new themed armor pieces as soon as they’re released.

Now that Sony is starting to lean into its Bungie acquisition with this latest reveal, it may only be a matter of time until their upcoming live service entry is announced. It may even be disclosed during the highly anticipated May 2023 PlayStation showcase, which is set to give out more details on plenty of exciting AAA titles like Spider-Man 2.
