Arguably one of the most common discounts seen around the annual Black Friday sales this year was Destiny 2, but if that wasn’t enough to entice you to give Bungie’s online shooter a try, there’ll be another way with a free trial launching from today.

The trial will be available on all formats the game’s on; PC via Blizzard Battle.net, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and will allow you to play through a small chunk of the game in solo or online with pals. The announcement doesn’t go into specifics how much you get, but the trailer below implies you’ll also be able to participate in some of the PvP Cruicble mode.

Any progress from the trial will carry over to the full game too, should you decide to purchase after you’re done. The trial comes not long before the launch of first expansion Curse of Osiris, which is due to arrive this time next week.
