Destiny 2 will be welcoming the return of PvP mode Iron Banner on April 17 as part of next week’s reset, developer Bungie has announced.
This isn’t just any old Iron Banner though; the latest incarnation of the hard-as-nails Crucible mode introduces 6v6 battles for the first time. Destiny 2 had originally adopted a 4v4 match-up, although Bungie discovered that this wasn’t really everyone’s cup of tea.
Iron Banner was originally set to roll out this week but was pushed back due to a last-minute bug rearing its head. That means the Crucible is currently offering up the Rumble playlist, so you may as well get stuck in and complete your Milestones.
Bungie recently confirmed that Destiny 2’s second expansion will launch on May 8 alongside another key update. In addition, we can expect Season 4 of the shared-world shooter to kick off in September.
