Destiny 2 is currently set for release on September 8. But it turns out that’s only for console. The PC version of the game doesn’t actually have a date yet.

Destiny 2’s director Luke Smith told PCGamer, We’re not committed to a PC date yet, but at Bungie we’re totally committed to making a PC build as great as we can.’

‘Our partnership with Blizzard and being on Battle.net, we want to make sure that this version of the game has the time it needs to bake in the oven so it’s a delicious piece of bread when it comes out.’

Smith said they can’t commit to a date right now, but will try to provide one ‘in the coming weeks’.

The PC version of Destiny 2 is coming via Blizzard’s Battle.net, and is the first non-Blizzard game to appear on Blizzard’s platform.
