Dead Rising 3 will not directly follow the path of its predecessors by focusing on a more open and accessible gameplay model Capcom has announced.

Speaking with VideoGamer.com at a Microsoft showcase event at E3, executive producer Josh Bridge said: “We’re aiming for a more approachable game that more players will find accessible. We will have nightmare mode, though, where time is tight and you can only save in [dedicated] washrooms.”

Bridge went on to confirm that he sees this option as almost a ‘NewGame+’ but added it would be available from the start of the game for players who want to experience Dead Rising 3 as has been so in the past.
