Xbox One launch title Dead Rising 3 has surpassed one million units shipped in Europe, North America and other launch markets, as of December 20, 2013.
The Dead Rising franchise debuted in August 2006 and as of December 31, 2013, cumulative shipments of the series have surpassed seven million units worldwide.
Dead Rising 3 is Capcom’s 62nd million-seller.
Capcom aims to maintain strong sales of the title by launching DLC with the goal of “generating more excitement in the gaming community that can support a long-lasting business associated with this title”.
The first of these DLCs, Operation Broken Eagle, launched yesterday priced £7.99.
