Capcom has announced Dead Rising 2: Off the Record, a re-imagining of Dead Rising 2 featuring star of the original Dead Rising, Frank West.
Gamers need to forget what took place in Dead Rising 2, as this is Frank’s story told only as he can. The new alternative storyline is said to make for a brand-new experience, with new missions, new enemies, new combo-weapons and a brand new Fortune City attraction to explore.
The save system has also been tweaked, while players will be able to play cooperatively with the second person stepping into the shoes of the sequel’s original protagonist, Chuck Green.
Dead Rising 2: Off the Record is due for release as a full price product on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC this autumn.
