Dead or Alive 6 is resurrecting sinister ninja chap, Raidou, Team Ninja and Tecmo Koei have announced.

Fans of the series should remember Raidou. He was previously thought to have been bumped off after the events of the first Dead or Alive, but he's back in action again thanks to the efforts of DOATEC's biotechnology. The only problem is he's gone a bit mental, and now only cares about destroying stuff and obtaining immense strength.

Raidou is just a bit hench, so he makes the most out of his physique to craft a brutal fighting style, with Mugen Tenshin Ninjutsu as a base. He specialises in unleashing 'devastating strikes,' including self-crafted techniques such as Tenho-Gorai-Sho and the Rekku-Jinraisatsu.

Elsewhere, Team Ninja also confirmed the addition of two modes for Dead or Alive 6, namely Quest and Training, and two new stages: A.P.O. and Chinese Festival.

Dead or Alive 6 is punching its way onto PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on March 1.
