UPDATE: Team Ninja has said that it is working with Microsoft and Sony to try and rectify the issue.

“We’ve been investigating the issue reported at this moment and we are working closely with both 1st party platforms,” Team Ninja said in a statement provided to VideoGamer.com. “We will let you know as soon as we have any updates. We apologies for any inconvenience players might have experienced.”

ORIGINAL STORY: Multiple users have reported a serious crash bug with the Xbox One version of Dead or Alive 5: Last Round that causes the game to freeze, forcing it to be restarted.

A variety of users on Reddit and GameFAQs have each reported the issue, with the problem believed to affect the game’s online and offline modes. The free trial of Last Round is also believed to be affected by the problem, as seen in the video below.

The issue is not thought to affect the PS4 version.

Temporarily disabling Throwdowns is said to have helped some players, although Koei Tecmo has yet to provide a more permanent solution. VideoGamer.com has contacted the publisher for comment.

Dead or Alive 5: Last Round launched in the US on Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360 and PS3 yesterday, with a UK release due this Friday. A PC release is due to follow next month.
