DBD devs share idea for next FNAF map in “likely to happen” second chapter, along with possibility of adding a famous Survivor 

A lot of Dead By Daylight fans obviously want more Five Nights At Freddy’s even though we’ve only just recently gotten Springtrap. The good news is that more FNAF content is on the way before the end of the year, and BeHaviour has stated they’d love to do another collaboration with Five Nights At Freddy’s in the future. BeHaviour Interactive has shared the Killer they have in mind for a second DBD chapter, and the developers have also openly discussed ideas for another FNAF map in Dead By Daylight, along with the possibility of adding a famous Survivor.

Following the release of the Dead By Daylight Five Nights At Freddy’s Chapter, BeHaviour conducted a live Q&A on the FNAF Discord. The Q&A is no longer accessible, but answers from BeHaviour Interactive have been relayed onto socials.

In a summary by Discord user, Sklarlight, shared by JonnyBlox on X, when asked about the possibility of a second FNAF chapter, BeHaviour Interactive personnel “couldn’t confirm anything, but they said they’d absolutely love to”. Sklarlight even added “It’s very likely to happen”.

While a second chapter isn’t confirmed, BeHaviour Interactive already have ideas in mind. The ideal killer would be The Mimic, and BeHaviour Interactive personnel reportedly said, “they’d love to see an extract of the Pizzaplex as the next FNAF DBD map”.

The biggest omission from the Five Nights At Freddy’s Chapter is the lack of a Survivor. Mathieu Cote has previously said the lack of a Survivor was a design choice because FNAF games are played from a first-person perspective.

During the Discord Q&A, BeHaviour Interactive revealed there is the idea floating around of possibly adding Josh Hutcherson’s Mike Schmidt in the future, but nothing is officially planned or confirmed.

While it would be fantastic for Josh Hutcherson to be added as a Survivor in a second FNAF Chapter, BeHaviour Interactive could also simply add him as Legendary skin for an original Survivor that already exists in DBD. Not only would Josh Hutcherson be another excellent famous face to add to Dead By Daylight, but he’d be perfect seeing as BeHaviour added the live-action William Afton, Matthew Lillard.

Remember that, although ideas have been discussed, BeHaviour Interactive has not confirmed there will be a second chapter with Five Nights At Freddy’s. It feels very possible, especially with Scott Cawthon’s heavy involvement and interest with the development of the DBD Chapter, but nothing is official as of writing.
