Dead By Daylight fans have a lot to look forward to in March. Leaks have revealed the return of a popular LTM coupled with extra Bloodpoints, meanwhile, we are finally getting the Chapter 35 PTB. In addition, leaks have revealed a month-long sale for one of the game’s many licensed rogues, but this has raised concern amongst the community that another iconic killer and license could possibly be leaving DBD.

Dead By Daylight leak raises possibility of killer leaving

On the DBDLeaks Discord, leaker Aricarna has revealed that “From March 4th to April 4th, there is a month-long Hellraiser sale featuring Pinhead’s cosmetics, as well as a Hellraiser bundle with Pinhead + cosmetics for 1393 Auric Cells”.

While this sounds a great opportunity for more players to buy Pinhead, Aricarna raises the possibility of this signalling Pinhead’s departure. As stated by the often-reliable leaker, “this alone does not confirm that Hellraiser will be leaving the game, [but] there were similar scenarios with Stranger Things and Attack on Titan before their removal”.

As of writing, BeHaviour has not responded to the leak or speculation. It’s possible an announcement for the sale could be made on March 3rd with clarification from the developer, or the announcement could possibly be saved for March 4th, when the sale is leaked to start.

On Reddit, fans have responded to the possibility of Pinhead leaving. There is a concern amongst the community because of how licensed chapters have been removed in the past. Stranger Things disappeared in 2021, but, thankfully, returned in 2023. Meanwhile, the Attack On Titan skin collection was removed in 2023, and, unfortunately, has not come back to the game.

There is also concern that Pinhead could be leaving due to an alleged uneasy relationship between BeHaviour and Clive Barker. As stated by one of the Reddit comments, “BHVR pursued the hellraiser IP when it had belonged to a holding company, [and] this happened right before the rights were going to revert back to the original owners”.

Again, it’s only speculation that Hellraiser is leaving DBD, but the concern is there due to Pinhead being half-price for an entire month. Hopefully we receive a response from BeHaviour soon so fears can either be confirmed or laid to bed.
