Dead By Daylight players have plenty to anticipate. Right now, fans on Steam can play the Chapter 35.5 PTB to experience the perks for new survivor, Orela Rose, who will become available on all platforms in May. In addition, next month we will learn about the FNAF Chapter during the anniversary stream, and get to play the PTB later, too. While FNAF is the most exciting aspect for DBD next month, a leak claims Dead By Daylight is also getting a feature “similar to Fortnite” in a future update.

Dead By Daylight leak reveals feature “similar to Fortnite”

According to Dead By Daylight leaker, Wazzup, as shared by dvveet on X, DBD is reportedly getting a feature “similar to Fortnite”. Rather than anything impacting gameplay, this mechanic is said to be Creator Codes.

BeHaviour has previously said that they are reworking the Creator Program, and that more details will be revealed in May. This could possibly happen during the anniversary livestream at PAX scheduled for May 9th.

In a follow-up to the leak, dvveet elaborated, “My guess is that since it’s the Creator Program, it will be select creators to get codes. Not just anyone like Fortnite/SAC”.

Lastly, on the DBDLeaks Discord, leaker Aricarna said, “Soon it will be possible to support creators! By purchasing an Auric Cells Pack, an extra amount will be sent to a creator of your choice! You can cancel your support or change it to support someone else whenever you want to”.

This is all we know so far from leaks. It will be good for those who wish to support creators in the future, and hopefully official details will be provided soon.
