Arguably the best aspect of Dead By Daylight is all of the collaborations. Not only has BeHaviour collaborated with some of the most popular movies and video games within the horror genre, but they have also joined forces with some amazing bands that have massive fandoms. A very popular horror band has said they are “totally down” for a DBD collaboration, and they would be absolutely perfect as they are a devoted tribute to the world of horror.
Right now Dead By Daylight fans can attempt to win a free prize worth over $2,000, and players can also claim a total of 1,100,000 Bloodpoints during Haunted By Daylight. Once Haunted By Daylight is over, we then move onto the November 2024 roadmap that includes the return of 2v8 and the Chapter 34 PTB.
Chapter 34 is set to feature an original killer and survivor, but DBD fans can be rest assured that there will be more huge collaborations in 2025 and Year 10. So far we know of Five Nights At Freddy’s, but we would also love to see BeHaviour collaborate with the popular horror band Ice Nine Kills.
Ice Nine Kills want Dead By Daylight collaboration
Ice Nine Kills have said they are “totally down” for a collaboration with Dead By Daylight. For those not in the know, Ice Nine Kills is a popular band entirely devoted to the horror genre. Their songs are based on horror movies such as Friday the 13th and American Psycho, and they have recently released a song called Work of Art which is in tribute to Art The Clown from Terrifier 3.
Their songs are great, but the music videos are especially awesome. If you enjoy a bit of gore and love the Terrifier movies, we recommend watching the Work of Art music video as it is gloriously brutal.
With their infatuation for horror well known, Slasher Radio asked Ice Nine Kills’ frontman, Spencer Charnas, if the band would be interested in appearing in Dead By Daylight. Spencer Charnas said, “Absolutely man, that’s one game that I hear about so much constantly, and I would be totally, totally down to collaborate with them, so anyone listening from the franchise or the video game give me a call, let’s do it”.
Slasher Radio then asked BeHaviour’s Interactive head of partnerships, Mathieu Cote, if they are interested in collaborating with Ice Nine Kills. Mathieu Cote said, “What I can say is we opened a new wing in the museum of horror with metal music because the visuals and the whole lore behind [metal music] is so very close and dear to the horror world”.
Cote didn’t specifically refer to Ice Nine Kills, but he did suggest more more music collaborations will happen if “the right ones [bands] are happy to come” into Dead By Daylight.
DBD has collaborated with Iron Maiden and Slipknot before, so hopefully we can get Ice Nine Kills in the future. They are a popular metal band, they have toured with Slipknot in the past, and they feel perfect for DBD due to their horror devotion.
