Dead By Daylight devs reaffirm long-forgotten stunning gothic beauty skin set to release in upcoming Rift

While Dead By Daylight fans have new codes to quickly redeem along with the imminent release of Rick Grimes and Michonne to look forward to, there are no more skins for July. As for August, we know there are outfits planned for Lara Croft. In addition, while we don’t know the release date, BeHaviour has reaffirmed a long-forgotten beautiful skin for Sable Ward set to come out in a future Dead By Daylight Rift.

Dead By Daylight devs reaffirm release for Sable Ward skin

In October 2024, BeHaviour Interactive revealed the winners of the Dead By Daylight community cosmetic contest. Cosmetics were won for the following survivors and killers:

Survivors:

• Sable Ward – Gothic Romance by Fairy Kun
• Jake Park – Lone Wolf by Kelsey Gottschlich 
• Adam Francis – Late Night Lecture by Razz Pazazz

Killers:

• The Dredge – Fear of Reminiscence by urouroutsuro
  The Unknown – Unsolved by shyboi.art
  The Singularity – Deathktop by Its_Sherboi

We haven’t seen any of these skins come into the game yet, but, on X, BeHaviour has recently reaffirmed that the Sable Ward Gothic Romance skin is coming in a “future Rift”.

Assuming they are to come out in Year 10, the possible months include October, January, and April looking at the roadmap. Hopefully the skins do come out in October for 2025, but we will have to wait and see. The only skin confirmed for October so far is a mysterious Springtrap skin said to be a BeHaviour developer’s “favourite”.
