Christmas is coming to DBD early with skins, new map and more

Dead By Daylight has had a fantastic year, and BeHaviour Interactive will end 2024 just as good with a lot of content planned for December. We typically know what to expect in December thanks to annual occurrences, but leaks have revealed specific skins and a new map set to arrive in DBD as early Christmas gifts for the community.

Before December arrives, there is a lot to enjoy in Dead By Daylight during November. 2v8 has come back with a lot of new killers, maps, and changes, and BeHaviour has shared the full November 2024 roadmap including a free trial and more. Chapter 34 was originally planned to launch in December, but it is instead coming out on November 28th with perks already revealed for The Houndmaster and Taurie Cain.

While November is jampacked with events and skins, the same is true for December. BeHaviour hasn’t revealed their December plans as of writing, however, the community can expect more ugly sweaters and a lot of other festive-themed activities.

Dead By Daylight leaks share December skins and map

Dead By Daylight leaks have revealed some new skin collections coming to DBD in December. According to leaker Aricarna on the DBDLeaks Discord, the following survivors are set to receive ugly sweaters on December 3rd:

• Sable
• Aestri Yazar
• Baermar Yazar
• Alan Wake
• Taurie

In addition to the above, Dvveet noted it appears “Lara and Trevor will not receive Sweaters but wait until it is actually out to know for sure”.

Alongside the aforementioned ugly sweaters, Aricarna claims skin collections are coming out/returning on the following dates:

• Holiday Horror – Dec 5th
• Deck the Trials – Dec 10th
• Bone Chill – Dec 17th
• Winter Tales – Dec 19th

It’s important to note that these dates are subject to change, so they are not set in stone.

Similar to Bone Chill skins, there should be a Bone Chill event similar to 2022 and 2023. This will run from December into early January just like Haunted By Daylight began in October to celebrate Halloween and expired in early November.

Lastly, in addition to all of the aforementioned skin collections and Bone Chill event, we are getting a new a map via Ormond Lake Mine. This is the map part of the update 8.4.0/Chapter 34 PTB.

Ormond Lake Mine is not launching as part of Chapter 34, but it is coming out before the end of 2024 and thus sometime in December.

This is all we know about December as of writing, but, if similar to previous years, there should be daily login rewards featuring Bloodpoints, shards, and more from December 1st until early January.
