THQ Nordic has announced that its platform-puzzle game, de Blob, will be coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 14. This gives those who missed it originally the chance to experience the fun and colourful game.

In de Blob, players are tasked with taking down the nefarious I.N.K.T Corporation who’ve outlawed the use of colour. As de Blob, players set off on a quest to restore colour to the fictional Chroma City by painting citizens, building and landmarks in a bid to free the city once and for all from the oppression of I.N.K.T. It’s kind of like the single-player Splatoon of its era.

de Blob originally came out on the Nintendo Wii in 2008, and was published by (the now defunct) THQ. A mobile port of the game followed the Wii release, and there was also a version in development for the Nintendo DS, but this was cancelled. The game’s sequel was released on the DS, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360 to decent reviews.

THQ Nordic acquired the rights to the de Blob IP in 2014, and released the game on PC earlier this year.

de Blob will be released for PS4 and Xbox One on November 14.
