DBD developer Behaviour Interactive has given players an early look at the rest of the upcoming live updates for the year, and they are a doozy. The next few patches are set to introduce plenty of tweaks to a bunch of different killers and perks. Plus, they’ll also contain some quality-of-life (QoL) and gameplay changes that should make certain gameplay elements much smoother.

According to Behaviour Interactive’s post, some of the killers that will receive balance updates in August include Dredge, Nemesis, and Doctor. At the same time, the dev team will introduce QoL improvements to Midwich Elementary School and survivor scratch marks. Finally, they’ll also be tinkering with a handful of perks, such as Dance With Me, Deception, Diversion, Chemical Trap, and Mirrored Illusion, so the meta is in for a significant shift soon.

Live updates in September and October will similarly introduce a few changes, including ones to the Skull Merchant, Unknown, Hillbilly, and the Twins. A similar number of perks, such as Leverage, Hex: Crowd Control, Distortion, and Blood Rush, will also be getting tweaks, while the only QoL improvement will be for the Finisher Mori.

Last and surprisingly least is one of the upcoming DBD updates in November. The patch slated for the end of the year only has perk tweaks for Pharmacy, Scene Partner, Weave Attunement, and Shadowborn, as well as changes to the Plague and Cenobite listed as of writing. However, Behaviour Interactive did note that these lists are still subject to change, so there may be more arriving as we get closer to each one’s release.

It’s also currently unclear whether all these tweaks will be released simultaneously, so you’ll have to wait and see before you can experience these changes.
