Sony is flexing more of its marketing muscle for Days Gone this week, releasing a moody TV ad for the upcoming Bend Studio-developed action-horror title.

This time around it's not in-game footage we're looking at, but rather, a cinematic where protagonist Deacon St. John is recovering from what appears to be a massive ruck. Bodies are strewn about the place, and our biker hero is down to his last round.

Not a great situation, particularly when a horde of Freakers start encroaching on his position. But who is he saving his last round for?

Days Gone is slated for release on Sony's flagship home console on April 26. The game follows former Bounty Hunter St. John as he attempts to forge a new life for himself, after a global pandemic has transformed millions of people into mutated, zombie-like entities known as Freakers.

The title has been a long time coming, and is actually Sony Bend's first project since Uncharted: Golden Abyss on PlayStation Vita.
