David Jaffe, co-founder of Eat Sleep Play and director of God of War and the Twisted Metal series, has revealed that he and his studio’s new game won’t be at E3 this year.
Asked via Twitter what he thought of a ‘leaked’ list of games to be revealed at E3 this year, which included Twisted Metal: Harbor City, Jaffe said: “Well I assure you 100% that is not accurate. If my game would be at E3, I would be there. ALSO we are NOT making that game.”
Jaffe also thinks it’s unlikely anyone else will be making the game, saying he would probably have heard about it if that was the case.
He added: “Harbor City was Twisted Metal from ages ago that never shipped – Twisted Metal Black 2 in essence – which is why I think this list is probably bull****.”
