Hitman 2 will see the return of everyone's favourite baldy assassin in the form of Agent 47, and his legions of fans will be pleased to hear that long time Agent 47 voice actor David Bateson is indeed returning to his most famous role.

The news was confirmed by, of all places, The Hollywood Reporter before being retweeted by the official Hitman game account, and will mark the man's 18th year voicing the mysterious murderer-for-hire.

As we already know, Hitman 2 will ditch the episodic format from the previous entry in the series for a more complete package, will feature co-op and will be published by Warner Bros. after IO parted ways with Square Enix last year.

No word yet if Sean Bean, who voiced the recent E3 trailer will make a voice appearance as, presumably, several of Agent 47's victims, though we can but hope. Hitman 2 lands November 13 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
