Hack-‘n-slash actioners Darksiders: Warmastered Edition and Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition are being enhanced for Xbox One X, publisher THQ Nordic has announced.

Players who fork out for the Darksiders 3: Blades & Whip Edition will be able to download and play Warmastered Edition today, complete all the additional bells and whistles that Xbox One X brings to the table. Meanwhile, Darksiders 2 will be made available later this month just ahead of Darksiders 3.

Both of the enhanced versions of the games – which already boast a number of visual improvements over the original last-gen versions – will feature 4K support for Xbox One X.

Darksiders 3 is due for release on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on November 27. The sequel will support HDR and will last around 15 hours long, with developer Gunfire Games also planning to release two post-launch DLCs packs.
