A Dark Souls fan has released a mod which fixes the resolution issues found in the PC version of the hit title.
The game only released yesterday, yet fan ‘Durante’ took only hours to get a working fix into the hands of PC gamers.
The PC version is locked at a fixed rendering resolution of 1024×720, but Durante’s mod works by intercepting “the game’s calls to the DirectX 9 API and changes them as necessary to enable a higher internal rendering resolution.”
The mod is currently a work in progress, but those wishing to give it a go can read more and download it here.
