These Anniversary Editions will contain “enhanced UI, touch controls, and bonus galleries featuring voice clip/sprite galleries, event galleries, and setting material (early/indev artwork) galleries,” and are brand-new ports compared to the previous ports for the iPhone 4. The new releases are one part of the “new information on games, goods, tie-ins, monthly commemorative programs, etc” to be revealed in this year and the next year.

Also, there will be a tie-in event centring around Danganronpa for the asymmetrical survival horror game, Identity V. And, Danganronpa: The First Class Trial is a Werewolf-style card game which is in development, but it’s exclusive to Japan and will release in June. Finally, the developer announced Dangan TV ~Hope Keeps On Going~, a monthly online video series hosted by Megumi Ogata, interviewing members of the Danganronpa cast and crew. This will premiere on May 21, on a schedule of the third Thursday of the month.
At the moment, we don’t know when the re-release of Danganronpa 1, 2, and 3 nor when the Identity V event are planned to launch, but Spike Chunsoft is sure to communicate more information in time.
