Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt RED has revealed that the upcoming sci-fi behemoth will include 'more diverse' romance options than The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Speaking with Game Informer, Cyberpunk 2077's Quest Designer, Patrick Mills, said that players will have more options available, as unlike Geralt, your character's sexuality hasn't already been defined.

'There are a lot more options. You know, you're defining your own character here, which means defining their sexuality any way you want. With Geralt, you had a character whose sexuality was very well defined by the novels and the short stories and the previous games,' said Mills.

Elsewhere, he revealed that Cyberpunk 2077 is definitely a current-generation game. While this may seem obvious, people were apparently so blown away by the demo at E3 that they questioned if it had been moved to new hardware.

'I've heard a number of people say that,' he said. 'The current console generation is what we're aiming for.'

Our man on the floor at E3 was lucky enough to have a gander at a demo of Cyberpunk 2077, and he was well impressed.
