The Nintendo DS has proved popular amongst people of all ages, and has seen plenty of titles targeted at children. G-Stars and Lexicon is also targeting children with its virtual pet game, My Little Flufties.

The game, designed for children aged 3-8, will feature cute characters and simple gameplay, and absolutely no violence in sight. The game has been designed to teach children how to look after and take responsibility for a living creature, and does so in a colourful world of fairy stories and exciting quests.

The game will have a cartoon-style look, with five fully animated species to care for. Players will also be able to play five bonus games: Fish-o-matic, Hopscotch, Mole-o-matic, Shoot-the balloons and Find the Tweet-Tweet.
