Size Five Games’ Steampunk Cybercrime Caper, The Swindle, will launch for Xbox One, PS4, PS3, PS Vita and Wii U in 2015 alongside the PC version, Curve Digital has announced.
Curve is handling development of the console versions, whilst original creator Size Five Games continues to work on the PC version.
Dan Marshall, developer and owner of Size Five Games commented: “Working with Curve means I’m able to bring out a high quality console version of The Swindle at the same time as PC, which allows me to spend my development time on finishing up the PC version and giving the game the vital polish and balance it needs.”
The Swindle blends platform, action and stealth gameplay and tasks players with breaking into buildings, hacking their systems, stealing their cash. Buildings and levels are all procedurally-generated.
Curve has a growing roster of indie games lined-up for console release in 2015, including Nova-111, Ultratron, and OlliOlli.
