Thunderful Publishing has announced that Curious Expedition 2 will head to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on March 17.

The game is a turn based narrative roguelike that sees players control the fate of an Explorer’s Club. You’ll pick from a set of starting characters and head out to explore a bunch of newly discovered mysterious islands. Your mission: to chart these strange new lands and bring back treasures to show at the 1889 World’s Fair in Paris.

Along the way you’ll explore a variety of different biomes, resplendent with procedurally generated danger and opportunities. You’ll have to manage your party’s resources & equipment to keep everyone alive and in good spirits. But your exploits won’t go unchallenged, as you’ll have to engage in dice-based combat with wild animals, hostile tribes, legendary creatures and more.

In addition, the Xbox and PlayStation launch also marks a new DLC for the game. Highlands of Avalon brings with it a new island type, a new game mechanic, eight new recruitable characters, new enemies and more. Finally, it’ll be available on the already existing Nintendo Switch version as well.

You can check out a trailer for the game for yourself down below. Curious Expedition 2 arrives on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on March 17. It’ll also be playable via backwards compatibility on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
