Warface, the free-to-play shooter created on CryEngine, has officially launched for Xbox 360, Crytek and Microsoft Studios have announced.

The game had been in an extended beta but is now officially available from the Xbox Game Store.

Warface features a 5-soldier Co-op Mode and competitive 16-player Versus Mode. Players are offered the choice of four classes: Rifleman, Sniper, Medic and Engineer.

Crytek promises regular content updates, including daily co-operative campaign missions, and a supply of new maps, weaponry and more.

As with Wargaming’s World of Tanks, players require an Xbox Live Gold membership to access the game.
