EA has announced Crysis 3: The Lost Island, the nanosuit-shooter’s first multiplayer DLC due for release on Xbox LIVE, PlayStation Network and PC next Tuesday, June 4.

The DLC pack includes four new multiplayer maps set in the Philippines, additional weapons, and two new modes: ‘Frenzy’ and ‘Possession’. Further details on the new content has yet to be released.

The Lost Island will cost 1200 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE and $14.99 on PC & PSN. A UK price has not yet been confirmed.

The DLC was first outed by an update to the game’s achievement list earlier this month.

“The gameplay in the Crysis series has always been deeply connected to the unique environments in which the action takes place,” said Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli.

“By transporting players out of the Liberty Dome and into the Lost Island setting, we’re not only returning to Crysis’ spiritual roots, but also introducing fresh ways to play that provide Crysis 3 fans with genuinely game-changing new tactical options, game modes and weapons.”
