Crytek has released a new in-engine trailer for Crysis 3, showing off the CryEngine 3 – technology that’s ready for current-gen and next-gen.
The trailer, which does look incredibly good, shows off a number of impressive rendering effects, including Real-Time Volumetric Cloud Shadows, Pixel Accurate Displacement Mapping, Tessellated Vegetation, Composite 3D Lens Flares and FX, Procedural HDR Flares and Shapes, 3rd Generation Real-Time Global Illumination, Dynamic Water Volume Caustics, Real-Time Volumetric Fog Shadows, Real-Time Area Lights, Unlimited, Particle FX Lighting, and Integrated Cloth and Vegetation Simulation.
Most excitingly, it also reveals the amazing looking Top Secret Tessellated Toad Tech. You can see it in the trailer below.
Crysis 3 is due for release on Xbox 360. PS3 and PC in February 2013.
