EA has revealed that Crysis 2 will no longer be released this year. The game had previously been confirmed for an autumn release.
Crytek’s visually-stunning first-person sequel is now scheduled for release during EA’s fourth quarter – January-March 2011.
“Our EA Games Label has a Q4 line-up anchored by Crysis 2 from Crytek, which has been moved from Q3 for a better window and polishing,” said EA COO John Schappert during an overnight earnings call.
