Speaking to Massively, Jack Emmert, Cryptic Studios chief creative officer, has revealed some of the benefits of its recently announced acquisition by Atari.

“Atari has a great pool of resources – PR, marketing, distribution, etc. Atari also has a number of terrific IPs that would make great MMOs. Mostly, this acquisition allows Cryptic to focus solely on the business of making great MMOs,” said Emmert.
