Kart racing remake Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled is this week's number one selling game on the UK charts, getting the second highest week one sales for the entire Crash franchise.

As reported on by GamesIndustry.biz from UKIE/GFK Chart Track data, CTR:NF's launch is only beaten by the recent Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy launch for week one sales, and managed more than four times the first week sales of its rival, Team Sonic Racing which also took the number one slot earlier this year.

In fact, it's the third best launch for any game in 2019, only behind PS4 exclusive Days Gone and the remake of Resident Evil 2 in terms of first week numbers. The rest of the top 10 was fairly devoid of new releases, but spirtual Castlevania successor Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night made it into 17th position.

Here's the top 10 for this week in full:

  1. Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled
  2. FIFA 19
  3. Forza Horizon 4
  4. Days Gone
  5. Red Dead Redemption II
  6. Battlefield V
  7. Grand Theft Auto V
  8. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
  9. Tom Clancy's The Division 2
  10. Anthem
