After spending an evening running over children with hilarious ragdoll effects, InZoi players have discovered another nefarious activity in Krafton’s new life simulator: virtual kidnapping. After having the vehicular murder of small Zois patched out, players are now engaging in yet another virtual crime.

While some players hunt for the best InZoi mods—and others create some rather cursed addons—the early access life simulator already has some hilarious glitches. And, just like The Sims, players are more than willing to exploit them.

InZoi players kidnap babies

In the current version of InZoi, players can simply invite themselves over to another Zoi’s house. If you find yourself at someone else’s house in the game and they have a baby, you can simply pick the small child up and walk home with them. It’s that easy.

TikTok user InZoiTikToks shared a video of the sinister video game bug online. In the video, the player Zoi simply walks into someone else’s home, picks up the infant and simply walks away.

One player on Twitter also discovered that players can force any Zoi in the world to enter their car when driving around. This means that players can virtually kidnap any character in the game. In the example, the player stole a school child from the Bliss Bay Public School, but you can also kidnap literally anyone else.

InZoi kidnapping is hilarious and weird because Zois will simply remember they don’t belong in your house after a short while. While you can quickly snatch a baby from a nearby house and put it in your house, the infant will run on home as soon as it grows up and attends school. The same is true of the older children who will go back to school the morning after you take them like nothing happened.

With the official InZoi roadmap officially bringing adoption to the game sometime in May, some could see this as the chaotic evil substitute for the official mechanic. However, we don’t expect the whole InZoi kidnapping thing to stick around very long.

At the end of the day, InZoi’s hilarious bugs are yet another sign that this is a true Sims competitor. After all, half of the fun of The Sims post-launch period is seeing all of the hilarious patch notes that come to fix the games’ weird issues. Who remembers “pregnant Sims can no longer brawl”?
