The first gameplay footage of Crackdown running on Xbox One will be revealed at Gamescom next week, judging by a tweet from Phil Spencer.

Taking to Twitter last night, the Xbox chief revealed that Microsoft had held its “final Gamescom content review [yesterday] and things are becoming final. Lot’s of nostalgia for me with the Crackdown gameplay.”

So far all we’ve seen of Crackdown is a trailer released at E3 last year, although we don’t yet know whether that’s representative of in-engine visuals. We don’t know who’s developing the game, either, besides original creator Dave Jones.

Besides Crackdown, Microsoft is also expected to show off new looks at Quantum Break and Scalebound.
