A little over a day after launching Counter Strike 2, Valve has now updated the game with its first minor patch to the popular first person shooter.

Sadly, this is only a minor patch, and doesn’t yet address big community concerns such as Counter Strike 2’s current lack of Mac support, but there are a number of quality of life fixes that should squash some minor outstanding issues with things like missing music and the game not rendering its highly-touted new smoke effects on AMD GPUs running on Linux. A few tweaks have also been made to a pair of popular Counter Strike 2 maps as well. Knowing Valve, this will be the first of many updates coming to CS2 as it establishes itself as the new baseline now that the game has essentially replaced Counter Strike GO as the series’ main home. (But hey, there’s always the Xbox 360 version to go back to.)

Here’s the patch notes for the first update, care of Valve.
