Mikael Kasurinnen, creative director on Remedy's Control, has confirmed during a Q&A session with Game Informer that DLC is on the cards for the game, although certain features, such as a New Game Plus option, will not be included.

One thing people are probably going to be pleased about is that microtransactions are not planned for Control. Oddly enough, difficulty settings won't be featured either, and a Photo Mode isn't in the pipeline for day one. However, this doesn't mean it won't show up later down the line.

Elsewhere, Kasurinnen also confirmed that skill trees and weapon upgrades will be present in Control, which probably isn't too shocking. Multiplayer isn't part of the package, though.

Control is due for release on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One at some point this year, though a release date has yet to be nailed down.
