According to a new preview in Nintendo Power magazine, rumours of a The Conduit sequel are true, with Conduit 2 in development at High Voltage Software.

Conduit 2 – note the sequel has dropped ‘the’ – will feature new local mulitplayer support with split-screen action for up to four players, new weapons and all-new locations. The game will see players shooting down bad guys in Washington DC, Siberia, Atlantis and Agartha, a city at the centre of the earth.

The first game didn’t really live up to its early promise, but SEGA appears to have deemed it worthwhile investing in a sequel. An autumn release date planned.
