Concept art of two possible new Rainbow Six Siege operators has been leaked on Reddit ahead of the start of the game’s competitive Season 3 later this month.

The art depicts a man hidden in swampland with a penchant for improvised transport planning, exploding the road ahead of a truck carrying what looks like archaeological finds. The second picture shows a woman beside the truck from the first image, quite pleased with a statue she’s broken out of a box.

We know that Season 3 will come with two new operators — that hail from Peru and Mexico — and with a Kanal map rework, while quality of life improvements are continually made to matchmaking and gameplay. Fans are speculating that the operation theme won’t be anti-cartel, as previously thought, but recovering stolen Inca and Mayan artefacts from smugglers. This aligns with the leaked gadgets as well; a grappling hook would allow scaling of ruins and difficult environments, and the fiery deployable shield would definitely slow down bandits with their eyes on the prize.

Ubisoft are hosting a panel at the Raleigh Major in a few weeks time, which is when they plan to announce the next season for Rainbow Six Siege. We will have to wait til August 18 to see if the leaks are verified, but there’s no question that they would be a badass addition.
