Yes, Shadow of the Colossus is finally making it to Europe on February 17, but to make up for the delay in the game arriving over here Sony is shipping it in special packaging and throwing in exclusive new content. The game will be released in special cardboard packaging containing four unique postcards, each with a print of a magical moment from the game.

The bonus content comes in the form of new behind the scenes material and interviews. Interviews with Ueda and Kaido-san offer an insight into how the massive production was put together. Also on the disc will be a full image gallery including unseen concept sketches, in-game stills, and the original trailer to the cult classic ICO.

The game’s dedicated website has also gone live, offering fans the chance to put their questions to Ueda-san, with the two best questions going in to a draw to win a signed PlayStation 2. There is also news of a competition for all those with aspirations of becoming an art-house designer. PlayStation.com is hosting a Shadow of the Colossus competition in which you are invited to submit designs for a new Colossus. The winner, hand picked by Ueda-san, will embark on a once in a lifetime trip for two to Nepal.
