Cold Fear puts you in the role of Tom Hansen a US Coast Guard crewman whose team is sent to investigate a drifting, abandoned Russian whaling ship. Prepare to face the horrors lurking beneath its bloodstained decks.
Shoot your way through a blood-soaked nightmare straight out of a horror movie. Confront hordes of alarmingly intelligent enemies as the ship’s deck lurches constantly under your feet.
Enough about the game, on to the competition. Rather than make this one easy for you we’ve set up a caption competition for the screenshot on the left. The two people whose captions make us laugh the most will win first prize: the game on the Xbox or PS2 (depending on which you prefer), with two runners up getting Cold Fear t-shirts to show off to their mates. Since we can’t find many potentially funny screens, you could also draw us a rediculous picture of some description relating to Cold Fear. Up to you.
Thanks to Ubisoft for the prizes, plus unlike a lot of our other competitions, this one isn’t restricted to UK users only, but please note that only PAL copies of the game will be provided and will not work on NTSC consoles. When entering, title your email with the version of the game you would prefer (PS2 or Xbox, not both) followed by the words “Cold Fear”. Don’t forget to include your caption or drawing in the email!

The competition ends on 31st March 2005. Winners will be announced on the website and will be notified by email. Winners have 7 days to reply with contact information before another winner will be selected. Employees of Ubisoft and Pro-G aren’t allowed to enter. Oh, and no kids allowed (18 or older please).
