Speaking exclusively to develop, Codemasters has revealed the first information on an ambitious new video game in development at the recently opened Codemasters Guilford.
Under the codename ‘Project Strike Team’, the new title is described by Codemasters as a “character driven action title” that will utilise Codemasters’ in-house EGO engine as well as the skills learned through the development of racing titles including Colin McRae DiRT.
We’re unlikely to find out any more on Project Strike Team until Codemasters’ Code 08 event next year. Even then the game could still be some way off, with a release set for some time in 2009.
