Last week at Games Convention 2007 Codemasters announced Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising as the full title for its military simulation sequel.
Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising is the long awaited return of the total conflict simulator, promising to challenge a new generation of players with the chaos and rapidly evolving situations of military combat.
The game is set on a vast oil-rich island, located off the eastern coast of Russia during a time of tension between Russia and China over the island’s ownership. The game opens as Chinese forces launch an offensive.
Players can expect solider, weaponry and military transportation to be authentic and realistically detailed.
Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising is scheduled for release on PC and leading console platforms in 2008. The trailer which debuted at Games Convention 2007 is now available to view over on Pro-G TV.
