Fall of Liberty is a next-gen first-person shooter set in an alternate reality World War II and is in development at Spark Unlimited, the people responsible for Call of Duty: Finest Hour.

Fall of Liberty changes reality by telling the story of what might have happened had Winston Churchill died in 1931 and not been there to lead the country to war. Without his leadership the events of WWII could have been dramatically different, with the UK and Europe falling to the Nazis in 1945.

Following their conquest of Europe, Nazi intelligence develops superior weaponry and vehicles and then on December 7, 1951, launches an all out attack on America – beginning with a massive invasion of New York. It’s up to the resistance to fight back and prevent the Nazis from taking America.

Spark is very excited to be working with Codemasters to bring to life an event gaming experience that will dramatise what might have happened if history had taken a different course,” says Craig Allen, CEO of Spark Unlimited.

Fall of Liberty is in development for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, and is pencilled in for release in Q4 2007.
