Debuting on Xbox’s Gamescom live show today, Ubisoft has released a new cinematic trailer for Assassin’s Creed Origins. In it we get a glimpse of Cleopatra, Julius Caesar riding all emperor-like on his horse, and the pharaoh Ptolemy.

Ubisoft obviously isn’t shying away from the playable history lesson angle for Origins, but there wasn’t any footage of the player character Bayek knocking the Sphinx’s nose off. To be fair, though, there’s not many other games that could do a trailer with a stop motion pyramid building, set to a cool Leonard Cohen song.

Assassin’s Creed Origins is out on October 27 for Xbox One, PC and PS4. It’s the latest entry in the Assassin’s Creed series, after 2015’s Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.
