Sega and SNK Playmore are to bring a modern version of the classic NeoGeo Joystick to the PlayStation 2. It is to be produced to mark the tenth anniversary of the King of Fighters series.

The styling of the controller is nearly identical to the original, but it will feature eight buttons instead of four. These replicate the buttons on the PS2’s controller, but no analogue sticks are present, making it incompatible with games that require analogue control.

No European release has been announced, but the Joystick will hit Japanese stores on February 17th, retailing for 5,800 yen (approximately £30).
