Several Call of Duty titles have now been made available on Valve’s popular Steam platform. The franchise entries that can now be purchased through the popular video game service include the previously released Modern Warfare 2019, Black Ops Cold War, and Vanguard.

All three of the previously mentioned installments are also currently on sale at the time of writing to celebrate its Steam launch. This means that fans will be able to purchase and play these games on the PC for a much lower price than normal.

But seeing as how these titles are already a few years old by now, making it immediately available for sale makes more sense as opposed to releasing it at full price. Additionally, new content is no longer being added to these entries, which makes a regular transaction even harder to justify.

Now that these have been released, almost every Call of Duty installment is now available on Steam. The only ones that are yet to be introduced are Black Ops 4 and Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered. Unfortunately, Warzone 1 is still not available on Steam even with the launch of these games, much to the disappointment of the CoD PC community.

Player reaction so far has largely been positive as numerous users have frequently remarked that Black Ops Cold War is one of the best CoD titles currently in the market. On the other hand, some fans are now wondering if the Steam availability for these games will revive their respective player bases. Only time will tell if it will, but the inclusion of these installments on one of the biggest gaming platforms will surely only help it in the long run.
