2K Games has released a playable demo for its imminent Xbox 360 and PS3 title Civilization Revolution. Gamers can log onto Xbox LIVE Marketplace and download the 1.3 GB demo now. Likewise the demo is also available on the US PS Store, but European PS3 gamers will have to wait – 2K says it’s coming in the next few weeks.
The demo features single and multiplayer game modes, with the gameplay ending in the year 1250 AD. You get to play as the Romans or Egyptians, just two of the game’s 16 civilizations.

Civilization Revolution is scheduled for release on Xbox 360 and PS3 on June 13, with the Nintendo DS version to follow in July.
