Christina Hendricks (Mad Men) and Sean Faris (Vampire Diaries) will star in Need for Speed: The Run, EA has announced.

The pair take on the roles of the game’s lead characters. Christina Hendricks, the Emmy and Golden Globe nominated actress who plays the savvy Joan in the hit AMC drama Mad Men, makes her video game debut in Need for Speed The Run as Sam Harper: a woman with ambition, street smarts and a penchant for fast cars. A manager of the best drivers in the cutthroat world of outlaw street racing, she bets on Jack Rourke (played by Sean Faris), the game’s protagonist, by fronting his $250K race buy-in in hopes of winning the $25 million prize.

“Our innovative, all-new performance capture technology pushes the boundaries of character animation allowing us to perfectly capture Christina and Sean’s likeness resulting in an engaging narrative experience coupled with top-notch racing,” said Jason DeLong, executive producer.

Need for Speed: The Run will be released November 17 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, Wii and Nintendo 3DS.
