Chili Con Carnage is a new “high action” game for the PSP and is set in the seedy underworld of Los Toros. Playing as Ramiro Cruz you must avenge the assassination of your father.

Eidos gave us the challenge to create the fastest and most gun crazy action game to be released on a handheld machine. And we have delivered Chili Con Carnage – a burning hot Mexican shooter with the biggest explosion frequency and the highest takedown rate you will ever experience on the PSP,” said Chris Mottes, CEO, Deadline Games.

The game’s set in the same universe as the much overlooked PS2 and Xbox game Total Overdose from Deadline Games. You’ll have access to weapons galore, and can pull off over-the-top gravity defying special moves. There are 19 missions to play through, set across seven locations. In addition to a selection of single-player modes there’s also a multiplayer mode, so you’ll be able to pull off moves against your mates.

No release date has been announced at this time.
